Lucky, a Chihuahua dog. Age: 5 years. Weight: 1.2 kg. Neurological examination: convulsions, apathy, stupor, delayed four-limb proprioceptive response. Patient after hospitalization. Low blood glucose – other blood tests within normal limits. Infectious diseases – Neospora positive.
MRI examination showed secondary hydrocephalus with symmetrical foci showing subtle contrast uptake.
The patient was discharged home with appropriate treatment recommended. Follow-up on August 5. Planned procedure: ventricular shunt placement in one month.
