Cranial cruciate ligament rupture is one of the most common reasons for visits to veterinary practices due to lameness in dogs. The aims of this article are to present the most common treatment methods, briefly discuss their principles of action and performance, patient qualification for surgery, and the advantages and disadvantages of the presented procedures.
